Walkathon For ‘Cataract Free Pune’ to be held on June 4

A major eye treatment centre in Pune, Dada Laser Eye Institute (DLEI), has started a campaign to raise awareness of the severe consequences of losing vision due to cataracts in an effort to avoid cataract blindness.
a campaign to stop cataract-related blindness will begin on June 1st, 2023. DLEI hopes to provide 10,000 individuals with free cataract testing, which costs $1,000 per test and will cost a significant $1 million.
On Sunday, June 4, 2023, Dada Laser Eye Institute will host a “CATARACT-FREE PUNE Walkathon” in addition to the free eye check-up camp. The walkathon will start at the Sadhu Vaswani statue on Sadhu Vaswani Road at 7:30 am and terminate at the DADA LASER EYE INSTITUTE located at the Gulmohar Apartment, East Street, Camp, Pune 411001.
The event will be flagged off by the esteemed chief guest additional Police Commissioner of Pune. To participate in the “Cataract Walkathon,” and Free Cataract eye check-up, interested individuals can call DLEI official number 9922995549.
